Hi! My name is Josephina von Blücher and I am a 16-year-old girl from Germany. For the next year I live in Caringbah at the Southern beaches of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. Normally I live in Hamburg with my mother and my twin sister Philippa who spends a year at the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. In Caringbah I‘m staying with a host family, visiting a high school and exploring the beautiful country.
On the 30th August was my bday and I turned sweet little sixteen. It was a great birthday 😉
In the morning my host sister Luce woke me up with balloons and singing and we had breakfast together. I am so thankful to have her 🙂 My mom send me a package with some presents and she surprised me with a video with more than 800 photos of the last 15 years.
Since Luce had the day off she told me that she would meet a friend in the city so we took the bus together but really she made me get off the bus a station earlier and the girls and Jack stood there with a muffin and sparklers and surprised me 🙂
After school we went to Cronulla and even though we only had 17° went swimming and it wasn‘t even that cold…
In the evening a dinner with my hostfamily and eating some cake was planned but what I didn‘t know was that the girls would be there too 🙂 They surprised me and we had dinner together. 
With the package my mom also send decoration for a cake that I had to give to Sev before my birthday. So he backed two cakes. Cheesecake because it is my favorite 🙂 And a chocolate cake on which he put my mom‘s dedoration. She had a picture of me and my sister printed on fondant as a lit for the cake.
